Palak inaugurates Covid-19 test in gene expert machine

State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Junaid Ahmed Palak on Tuesday said prevention is better than cure and laid special emphasis on raising individual awareness to save from Covid-19, the enemy of humanity.
“There is no alternative to wearing face mask, maintaining social distance, washing hands with soap and water for 20 seconds and getting vaccinated to protect from deadly infection,” he said.
He said this while inaugurating Covid-19 test programme virtually as the chief guest through Gene Expert Machine at Singra Upazila Health Complex in Natore
He said it is possible to protect individual, society and family from being attacked by Covid-19 if everyone must move in the pandemic with utmost consciousness.
“The 50-bed Upazila Health Complex would be upgraded to a 100-bed hospital with modern, ideal and service-oriented institution through integrated efforts of all,” he said.
He urged all concerned to work with honest and cordiality in extending health services to the common people.
Singra Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Aminul Islam presided over the function.
Natore Deputy Commissioner Shah Md. Riaz, Natore District Civil Surgeon Dr. Kazi Mizanur Rahman, Natore District Superintendent of Police Liton Kumar Saha among others, participated in the programme,
Twelve people who arrived at the hospital were instantly given services through gene expert machines.
