Women's Cricket: Pakistan beat Bangladesh by 13 runs

Visiting Pakistan Women team beat Bangladesh Women by 13 runs in the first match of the two-match T20 series at Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium in Cox’s Bazar on Saturday.
Chasing 127 runs, Bangladesh Women’s team consumed stipulated 20 overs scoring 113 runs for six wickets with one down Farzana Haque making 35 runs off 40 balls with a four before she was bowled by Anam Amin.
Opener Shamima Sultana was caught by Syeda Fatima Abidi off Asmavia Iqbal Khokhar delivery scoring 18 runs off 21 balls with three fours.
Number five Rumana Ahmed was also caught by Syeda Fatima Abidi off a Sania Iqbal bowling making 16 runs off 22 balls when scoreboard showing 74 for 4 in 14.3 overs.

Bangladesh reached in three digit 100 runs losing 5 wickets in 17.2 overs.
Ayesha Rahman made 12 runs; Sanjida Islam scored 8 runs while Lata Mondol and Nuzhat Tasnia scored not out 6 runs each for their side.
Asmavia Iqbal Khokhar grabbed two wickets for 22 runs in her four overs spell while Sana Mir, Anam Amin and Sania Iqbal took one wicket each conceding 18, 19 and 22 runs respectively.
Earlier, batting first, after wining the toss Pakistan Women’s team scored 126 runs for 4 in 20 overs.
Opener Javeria Khan hit her 2nd half century in the T20I scoring 58 runs off 55 balls including 5 boundaries and was adjudged player of the match.
Number four Bismah Maroof made 39 runs off 42 balls with three fours.
Another opener Syeda Fatima Abidi gave a caught to Salma Khatun off a Lata Mondol delivery scoring just 6 runs off 15 balls while one down Marina Iqbal returned to the pavilion with duck facing five balls as she was caught by Nuzhat Tasnia off a Panna Ghosh Delivery.
Panna Ghosh, Lata Mondol and Jahanara Alam took one wicket each conceding 4, 18 and 23 runs respectively.
