Pabna-4 MP Alhaj Nuruzzaman Biswas said, “Padma Bridge is a symbol of pride and arrogance of Bengalis. The Padma Bridge was like a dream, which Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has made visible. The Padma Bridge has taken Bangladesh to a unique height. The construction of Padma Bridge with its own funds has enhanced the status of Bengali nation and Bangladesh in the world. Today, it has been proved that the promise made by Bangabandhu’s daughter Jannetri Sheikh Hasina has come true. She is moving the country forward fast because she has visionary leadership like Sheikh Hasina.”
He said this while exchanging views with the leaders and workers of Awami League on the occasion of inauguration of Padma Bridge on Saturday (June 18) afternoon.
MP Biswas further called for a colorful event at Ishwardi on June 25, the day of the inauguration of the Padma Bridge. “We, the people of Ishwardi and Atghoria, are grateful to the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for what we have asked for. He has made the impossible possible. The Padma Bridge was like a dream come true. Sheikh Hasina not only dreamed but also realized it.
He said Bangladesh has been recognized as a developing country today due to the visionary leadership of Sheikh Hasina. Construction of the country’s largest budget Rooppur nuclear power plant at Ishwardi is progressing at a fast pace. The country is being made an economic zone. One crore people will be employed there. Export revenue will increase by 50 billion. If this trend continues, we will see a developed Bangladesh before 2041.
The regional head of Mujib’s forces, Biswas, said that while the Bengalis were about to cross an important milestone on their path to economic liberation, the BNP and its allies were being burned at the stake.
