Sheikh Arif Bulbon :
For her vocal Oyshee is different from other singers of her generation. While hearing song anybody can easily understand this is Oyshee’s voice. She is Fatima Tuz Zahra Oyshee who is talented singer of new generation. She tries to render song selectively. It is also happened that after recording if Oyshee finds her song does not become up to the mark according to her, she again lends her vocal for that song. Before reaching to the listeners it is really necessary for the satisfaction of the singer.
Oyshee lent her voice for a new song titled Manob Gari. She has huge expectation about the song. Ahmed Rabbani wrote this folk based song while he has also composed its music. Sumon Kalyan has arranged its music. Oyshee has already finished recording of the song.
While talking about her new song Oyshee said, “When Sumon Kalyan Dada sent me the song Manob Gari, I realised it will become a nice song. Ahmed Rabbani also wrote its lyrics nicely which is really meaningful. I have a lot of expectation about this song. Overall, it has become a nice song.”
Lyricist and composer of the song Ahmed Rabbani said, “Basically I wrote the song for Oyshee only. To keep in my mind, I have composed it for her voice. I am really impressed to hear the song in her voice. I believe music-lovers will enjoy the song.”
Meanwhile, Oyshee also lent her voice for several play-back songs for movies. In film Mukti, she rendered its title song in language of Noakhali. SK Dip wrote its lyric while Shahriar Rafat composed music of the song.
Therefore, Oyshee also rendered another play-back song for Azad Abul Kalam’s a movie. She is expecting to render two more play-back songs for two movies.
Born on December 8, Oyshee rendered last two released play-back songs were: Rongila Bibi of movie Abotar and Maya of movie Maya-The Lost Mother.
Oyshee got primary lessons in music from her mother Nasima Akter when she was four years old. Later, she received training from Rangpur Shilpakala Academy. After going to Noakhali, she received training from Md Sharif from Moumachhi Kochikanchar Mela and later received from Hafiz Uddin Bahar. Now she is receiving training from noted Nazrul artiste Sujit Mustafa regularly, Oyshee also said.
