There is virtually no initiative to remove the debris of the cable operators’ wires entangled in the electric poles on various roads and lanes of the city. Due to this garbage, earthing and short circuit accidents often happen.
It has been observed that the electric poles have become dangerous due to the weight of the wires of the internet and satellite cable operators. Accidents happen every day while working on those poles. Besides, the beauty of the city is also being ruined due to the waste of these wires.
Concerned people say that it is better if the work of taking the random power lines in the city under the ground is done quickly to free the city from the garbage of the wires.
This underground line will ensure uninterrupted power supply. As well as reducing system losses will benefit the state and the people.
The power connection will not be disrupted even in storms and rains.
According to the fire service, 85 percent of fire accidents are caused by electrical problems. Most of the fires in the city from 2018 to September 2020 were due to electrical disturbances.
