Over 500 people sworn in to prevent child marriage, dengue, cybercrime in Bogura

More than 500 people have sworn in to prevent child marriage, dengue and cybercrime in Bogura on Tuesday.
They have taken oath to work together to prevent child marriage, dengue and cybercrime in a day-long awareness campaign organized by the Children and Youth Forum at the Police Lines School and College Auditorium.
Additional Superintendent of Police (promoted to Superintendent of Police), Mokbul Hossain, spoke as the chief guest on the awareness campaign in collaboration with ADP World Vision Bangladesh and District Police.
During the meeting chaired by World Vision Regional Co-coordinator Tanjimul Islam, the chief guest discussed the issues related to preventing child marriage, dengue and cybercrime. He said that child marriage and cybercrime should be legally punishable offenses which all should be aware of and tackle all issues that will hinder the development of the country. He thanked the organizers of the campaign and said that the district police family is always on the side of the common man in all kinds of good works in the district. He also ensured the safety of the common people in the district, assisted in creating awareness and prevention of crime like child marriage and cybercrime, including role in preventing drugs and terrorism. Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle) Sanatan Chakraborty, Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar) Tapos Kumar Paul and Officer-in-Charge of Sadar Police Station SM Badiuzzaman were also present as special guests. Sadar Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Samir Hossain Mishu, Assistant Professor Emdadul Haque, Pirmal Prasad Raj, publisher of Journal BD 24.com, Regional Advocacy of World Vision, Jamal Uddin, Child Protection Officer, Health, Nutrition and Washing Officer Abu Hossain and Robin Baroi spoke among others.
