Oshin Group clinched the Summit Open Squash title beating Ananta Group by straight 3-0 sets in the final at the Bangladesh Navy Squash court here on Friday.
Swapan Parvez of the champion Oshin Group was adjudged the best player of the tournament.
In the Masters Group (above 45 years), Gulshan Club became champions beating Dhaka Club also by 3-0 straight sets.
State Minister for Youth and Sports Dr Biren Sikder was the chief guest at the Friday’s closing function, chaired by President of Bangladesh Squash Rackets Federation Mohammad Faruk Khan MP.
Assistant Chief of the Naval Staff (Operation) Rear Admiral A M M M Aurangzeb Chowdhury, Commander of 14 Independent Engineers Brigade Brigadier General ASM Mahmud Hasan and Vice Chairman of the meet’s sponsor Summit Group Latif Khan were also present as special guests.
