The Institute of Family Management (IFM) organised a seminar and workshop on “Challenges of Shaytan : Devine Guideline at Dhaka New Hall Auditorium , Gulshan- 1 on Saturday. Prof Yusuf M. Islam, VC , Daffodil International University, noted academic and Qur’anic Researcher conducted the workshop. Shiekh Hafiz Ahsanullah, Khateeb and Imam of the Gulshan Central Masjid spoke on “Identifying Shaytan in the light of the Qur’an and Hadith”. Prof Mokhter Ahmed, Director, Islamic Studies, Daffodil International University presented a paper on “How to prevent Shaytan” . Major Md Quamrul Hasan (Retd), Founder Director Academy of Qur’anic Studies (AQS) discussed on “Doctrine of Shaytan”. Mir Lutful Kabir Saadi Chairman and CEO, IFM delivered a lecture on “An introduction to the Institute of Family Management and Reformations of Families in accordance to Prophetic Family-hood , says a press release.
World Heritage Journeys
UNESCO Workshop on World Heritage Management was jointly organized by the Department of Archaeology and UNESCO Dhaka Office from 30 November to 3 December 2019 in Dhaka and Sonargaon. On the occasion of this workshop, the Department of Archaeology, Bangladesh Tourism Board and Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and UNESCO launched Digital Platform “World Heritage Journeys – Buddha” on 30 November 2019at Ascott Palace Hotel. The Digital Platform “World Heritage Journeys – Buddha” was internationally launched at the 43rd session of the World Heritage Committee on 2 July 2019. The Digital Platform is the tangible result of the project the “Buddhist Heritage Route for Sustainable Tourism Development in South Asia: World Heritage Journeys – Buddha”, which was generously supported by the KoreaInternational Cooperation Agency (KOICA).
The project aimed to develop and promote sustainable Buddhist tourism in South Asia with focus on three World Heritage Sites:Saanchi World Heritage site from India, LumbiniWorld Heritage site from Nepal and Paharpur World Heritage site from Bangladeshthrough the creation of the online platform: http://visitbuddhistworldheritage.com. In the ceremony, Mr. MdHannan Mia, Director General (Additional Secretary), Department of Archaeology,Dr.Bhubon Chandra Biswas, CEO, Bangladesh Tourism Board (BTB), Mr. Hyun-gue Joe, Director, KOICA Dhaka Office and Ms. Beatrice Kaldun, Head of Office and UNESCO Representative of Bangladesh were present to celebrate the launching of the Digital Platform “World Heritage Journeys – Buddha”.
