Garment Sramik Trade Union Kendra
A rally organised by Garment Sramik Trade Union Kendra was held in front of the Jatiya Press Club on Friday. In the programme the leaders of the organisation demanded reinstatement of union leaders of Choity Group and Supertex Garments of the city’s Dakshinkhan immediately and stop harassment and repression on garments workers. The function was addressed, among others, by labour leader Sadequr Rahman Shamim, Executive President of the organisation Kazi Ruhul Amin, its Acting General Secretary Iqbal Hossain. President of the organisation Advocate Mantu Ghosh presided over the event. A procession brought out by the organisation paraded different streets of the city to press home its demands.
