Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote
A discussion on life and work of great politician Sher-e-Bangla AK Fazlul Huq organised by Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote was held at its Gulshan office in the city on Saturday marking the 146th birth anniversary of the veteran leader. The speakers recalled the contributions of Sher-e-Bangla. The programme was addressed, among others, by Vice-President of the organisation Rafiqul Alam, cine artistes Rozina, Aruna Biswas, Rokeya Prachi and its General Secretary Arun Sarker Rana. President of the Central Committee of the jote and noted actress Sarah Begum Kabori presided over the event. Leaders and activists of the jote paid tributes to Sher-e-Bangla placing floral wreaths at his mazar in the city on the occasion of birthday of the late leader. They prayed for the salvation of the departed soul.
