Professor Dr. Md. Ismail Khan has been reappointed as Vice-Chancellor (VC) of Chattogram Medical University (CMU) for another four years. He was the first Vice-Chancellor of CMU.
Chancellor of the university President Md Abdul Hamid made the appointment, a circular signed by Abdul Quader, Deputy Secretary of Health and Family Welfare on Monday (April 26) announced his reappointment.
According to the circular Professor Dr. Md. Ismail Khan would serve as VC for another four years from the time of his appointment. The university will fulfill the obligations of the previous term as per the law and he will get the same salary allowance and other benefits as before.
