Sector Commanders Forum-Muktijuddho ’71 has condemned the violence erupted in Borhanuddin of Bhola district centering a Facebook post that reportedly hurt religious sentiment. SCF, the pro-liberation platform, in a statement issued on the twenty third instant said it thinks the communal violence took place in Bhola was planned. A communal provocation had been spread using Facebook in a planned way so that the minority community suffers from insecurity there, the forum said. If someone hurts religious sentiment of anyone, legal steps could be taken against his or her, the statement said, adding that a vested quarter was trying to create anarchy and social instability by spreading rumours over religious issues. SCF demanded the government to take necessary actions against those involved in the violence in Borhanuddin.
