Gita Renaissance Bangladesh
A discussion on the occasion of Shri Krishnastami organised by Gita Renaissance Bangladesh was held in Hoimanti auditorium of Ban Bhaban in the city’s Agargaon. Planning Minister MA Mannan was present as the chief guest in programme held recently. While speaking Mannan said that Bangladesh is a country of communal harmony. People of all faiths perform their religious rituals freely. The function was also addressed, among others, by Chairman of Palli Sanchay Bank and former Secretary Dr Mihir Kanni Majumder, Prof Dr Ashim Sarker of Sankskrit Department of Dhaka University and Krishnadas GC Biswas Joy. The event was concluded through devotional songs wishing for the welfare of mankind.
