A seminar on ‘Deterioration of Law & Order and Human Rights: On Which Way Bangladesh?’ organised by Jatiya Manobadhikar Andolon was held in Maulana Akram Khan Hall of the Jatiya Press Club on Saturday. In the programme the speakers said the law and order situation has been deteriorated immensely in the country now. They called upon all to be united against the mass lynching, rape and forced disappearances. Founder and also Chairman of the organisation Mahmudul Hasan presided over the event.

A seminar titled “Guideline of Islam on Verifying Authenticity of Information : Recent events” organised by Bangladesh Anjumane Talamije Islamia, Dhaka University branch was held at Shangri-la Inn Restaurant in the city’s Naya Paltan on Friday. Assistant Professor of Dhaka University and Joint Secretary of Bangladesh Anjumane Al Islah Maulana Ahmad Hasan Chowdhury was present as the chief guest in the programme. While speaking Ahmad Hasan said that proper practice of Islamic guideline about verifying authenticity of information can solve the current rumour crisis all over the country. In the age of information and technology, false news are spreading immensely. So, everyone should verify any information before spreading or believing these.
