Department of Computer Science, IUBAT
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering of the International University of Business Agriculture and Technology (IUBAT) has successfully organized IT-Fest Fall 2017 recently . The entire IUBAT University campus was in exquisite decoration for the festival. The inaugural ceremony started at 9:30 am in the conference Room of IUBAT University. The honorable guests Prof Dr. Abdur Rab, VC, IUBAT, Dr Monirul Islam Chair, Dept. of College of Engineering and Technology (CEAT), Md. Abdul Jabbar ,Registra, IUBAT, Prof. Dr. MdAbdul Haque Chair of Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering, Dr. Utpal Kanti Das, Coordinator, Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering were present in the ceremony. The ceremony started with the recitation from the Holy Quran followed by the National Anthem and one minute of silence for the departed soul of late VC Prof Dr. M.Alimullah Miyan and Pro- Vice Chancellor Mahmuda Khanum. The guests delivered their speech to the participants and students.
Canadian University
Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Canadian University of Bangladesh arranged a discussion session on National ICT Day-2017 at its Auditorium on Tuesday. Dr. Mohammad Mahfuzul Islam, Professor and Former Head, Computer Science & Engineering Department of BUET and President of Bangladesh Computer Society, Chairman of Computer Engineering Division (IEB) graced the event as the Chief Guest while Md. Maniruzzaman, Head of Mobile Apps Development at REVE Systems Ltd. was present as the special guest.
