Asia Chhinnamul Manobadhikar Bastobayon Foundation
A rally on Jail Killing Day organised by Asia Chhinnamul Manobadhikar Bastobayon Foundation was held in front of the Jatiya Press Club in the city on Wednesday. In the programme the speakers said the anti-liberation forces wanted to kill ideology of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and perception of the Liberation War through killing of the four leaders inside the Dhaka Central Jail on November 3 in 1975. The function was addressed, among others, by President of Bangabandhu Gabeshona Parishad Lion Gani Miah Babul, Liberation War Affairs Secretary of Bangabandhu O Char Neta Smrity Parishad MA Kader Mondal, Secreatry General of Bishwa Media Club Delwar Hossain Bhuiyan and President of Bangabandhu Peshajibi League Dr Abul Kalam Azad. Chairman of the organisation Dulal Miah presided over the event.

A discussion marking the 100th anniversary of Russian Revolution and anniversary of Samyabadi Dal organised by Samyabadi Dal was held at the Engineers Institution in the city on the 31st ultimo. Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammed Nasim was present as the chief guest. While speaking Nasim described the recent attack on the motorcade of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia on the way to Cox’s Bazar Rohingya camps as an orchestrated drama staged by the party itself. “BNP itself arranged drama of attack on the motorcade of Begum Zia. Investigation is underway into the drama and truth will come to the light soon,” he told. Nasim said Khaleda Zia did not go to Cox’s Bazar to convey her sympathy to the persecuted Rohingya people who took refuge in Bangladesh rather she went to carry out election campaign capitalising the Rohingya issue. He said the next general election would reveal which party has support of how many people. The function was also addressed, among others, by Workers Party President and Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Rashed Khan Menon and Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal President & Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu. General Secretary of the organisation Dilip Barua presided over the event.
