Bangladesh Police Service Assoc
Members of Bangladesh Police Service Association distributed blankets among 200 cold-stricken poor and distressed people of different char villages in Kawnia upazila. Deputy Inspector General of Rangpur Range Police Devdas Bhattacharya distributed the blankets on behalf of the association at a function held recently at Gajirhat Primary School ground in the upazila as the chief guest. The function was attended, among others, by Superintendents of Police Zakir Hossain, Abu Maruf Hossain and Mehedul Karim, Kawnia Upazila Nirbahi Officer Ulfat Ara Begum, Officer-in-Charge of Kawnia Thana Azizul Islam and Upazila Youth Development Officer Shamsuzzoha. In the event the speakers called upon the affluent section of the society to extend their helping hands for the distressed people of the country.
