Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote
Marking the 8th death anniversary of Poet Shamsur Rahman, Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote (BSJ) placed floral wreaths at his grave in the city’s Banani Graveyard on Sunday at 9 am. The jote also organised a discussion and poetry recitation at its central office in the city’s Gulshan. In the discussion the speakers paid rich tributes to the late poet. The discussion was addressed, among others, by Senior Vice-President of BSJ and actor ATM Shamsuzzaman and Vice-President Pijush Bandopadhyai. President of the organisation Advocate Tarana Halim, MP presided over the programme.
