Dhaka University Cycling Club
Dhaka University Cycling Club organised a cycle rally on the campus commemorating the martyrs of the Language Movement and marking the Mother Language Day 2022. Dhaka University Vice Chancellor Dr Md Akhtaruzzamn inaugurated the cycle rally at the university’s Teacher-Student centre recently. More than 50 cyclists participated in the rally which ended at the base of Aparajeya Bangla premises after parading different key points of the campus. General Secretary of Bangladesh Chhatra League DU unit Saddam Hussein, DU Philosophy Department Associate Professor and Moderator of the club Rebeka Sultana, DUCC President Tanvir Hossin Shanato and General Senretery Ali Newaz Tushar, among others, participated in the rally. However, this year’s cycle rally was organised in a limited scale maintaining health guidelines considering the pandemic situation, said Ali Newaz Tushar, General Secretary of the club.
