Bangladesh Swadhinata Parishad
A food distribution programme through online among the affected people due to Covid-19 organised by Bangladesh Swadhinata Parishad was held on the premises of RKK Degree College at Saidabad in the capital. Informationa and Broadcasting Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud was present as the chief guest in the programme held on Sunday virtually. While speaking Hasan said it is seen that different leaders are giving statements in different ways to send BNP Chief Begum Khaleda Zia abroad for treatment. “So question arose that whether there is malice among the leaders who want to send the BNP chief abroad,” he added. Later, the leaders of the organisation handed over food items to about 500 families of the area. AL leaders Advocate Boloram Poddar and MA Karim, Freedom Fighter Abdul Gani and President of the parishad Zinnat Ali Jhan Zinnah, among others, spoke on the occasion. Adviser of the parishad Barrister Sohorab Khan Chowdhury presided over the event.
