General Secretary of Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal Shirin Akhter, MP, urged the party men to remain alert against those people who are active in demolishing the spirit of Liberation War. She said this while speaking as the chief guest at a mourning meeting on Advocate Taimur Rahman at Dinajpur Press Club on Thursday afternoon. Shirin Akhter said people who are engaged in politics using religion must be barred. The function was addressed, among others, by Workers Party of Bangladesh leader Mahmudul Hasan Manik, Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal leaders Shakhawat Hossain Rana, Rajiur Rahman Babu, Amaresh Rao and Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB) leader Altaf Hossain. One of the leaders of the organisation Advocate Liakat Ali presided over the event.
