National Health Service Week observed
A hypertension awareness programme was held on Saturday on the concluding day of the week-long National Health Service Week in the premises of Kamlapur Railway Station. This program was held under direct leadership of Mashiur Rahman , Additional Secretary, Health Services Division, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. Treatment and awareness about hypertensions and its complications were provided by Professor Dr Md Toufiqur Rahman, Professor and Head, Col. Malek Medical College , Manikganj, along with Dr Abdul Ahad, Dr. Syed Firoz Alamgir, Dr Shafiqul Alam Chowdhury of Railway General Hospital and Dr Md Alauddin, Secretariat Clinic. Around 500 patients were given treatment and advices about hypertension and its complication.
