World Vision Bangladesh
Speakers at a dialogue underscored the need for ensuring child rights to protect them from all sorts of repressions in the society. World Vision Bangladesh organised the dialogue with Imams, marriage registrars and community leaders in Mymensingh on the sixteenth instant. APC Manager of World Vision Namrata Haloe conducted the dialogue. Director of Islamic Foundation, Mymensingh division Md Mohiuddin Chowdhury and Secretary of Mymensingh Press Club SK Mohiuddin, among others, were present on the occasion. Describing the ways and nature of different physical and mental harassment of the children, the speakers narrated the responsibilities and role of religious leaders for the protection of children in the light of their religious faiths. They said the government took various measures to protect and flourish children mentally and physically in order to make them worthy and patriotic citizens of the country.
