Teachers-Employees United Alliance
A rally organised by Teachers-Employees United Alliance was held in front of the Jatiya Press Club. In the programme held recently the leaders of the organisation strongly protested for not giving Baishakhi allowance to non-government teachers and employees. They also demanded for the nationalization of jobs of non-government teachers and employees. The function was addressed, among others, by Chairman of the alliance Principal Selim Bhuiyan, Shahadat Hossain, leader of Karmochari Federation Ayub Ali, Professor Zakir Hossain and Principal Alamgir Talukdar. The rally was also held in Kushtia, Cumilla, Chattogram, Faridpur, Kishoreganj and Chandpur to press home its demands. Convenor of the organisation, Dhaka district Mollah Nazrul Islam presided over the function.
