Bangladesh Nationalist Front
A discussion on ‘Election time Government’ organised by Bangladesh Nationalist Front (BNF) was held at the Jatiya Press Club on Monday. In the programme Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammad Nasim was present as the chief guest. While speaking Nasim called upon BNP leaders to take preparation for the national polls of December 2018. Referring BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia, Nasim said, “We do not want you to stay in jail… We want you to come out from there and participate in the general election to be held in 2018.” Urging BNP to get prepared for the election, Nasim said, “The election would be held in the month of Independence, December under Election Commission and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina would be the chief of the government during the election time”. The function was also addressed, among others, by Co-Chairman of the front Momtaj Jahan Chowdhury, its leaders Ataur Rahman Khan, Mostafa Babul, Advocate S M Islam and M Khalid. BNF Chairman SM Abul Kalam Azad presided over the event.
