Bangladesh Puja Udjapon Parishad
A rally organised by Bangladesh Puja Udjapan Parishad was held in front of Jatiya Press Club in the city on Friday. In the rally the speakers demanded to withdraw notice issued against the president of the organisation Kajol Devnath by Primary and Mass Education Minister Mostafizur Rahman. They said that Kajol Devnath only performed his duties by raising allegations against some locals for their allegedly involvement in occupying land of some Hindu families in Chandipur union under Parbatipur Upazila in Dinajpur district. The rally was addressed, among others, by Dr Nim Chandra Bhoumik, Advocate Rana Das Gupto, Advocate Subrata Chowdhury, Basudev Dhar, Padmabati Devi and Milon Kanti Dutta. The programme was presided over by Jayanta Sen Dipu.
