Disabled Children’s Edn & Care Organisation
A discussion jointly organised by Disabled Children’s Education and Care Organisation and National Association of Sports for the Persons with Disability (NASPD) was held on Thursday at Osmani Memorial Hall in the city. Shipping Minister Shajahan Khan was present as the chief guest. While speaking he said that the physically challenged people are the nation’s asset. “If we do not take proper care of them the nation would lose a lot, “he added. He said adding that the physically challenged must be allowed to take part in development activities according to their abilities. Social Worker Rokeya Begum presided over the programme. The event was addressed, among others, by Member-Secretary of the Freedom Fighters’ Coordination Council, Kamrul Anam and President of the Child Care Organisation, Yaz Ali Faruk.
