Awami Prochar League
A discussion organised by Dhaka City Awami Prochar League was held at the VIP Lounge of the Jatiya Press Club recently in observance the 69th birthday of Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Shipping Minister Shahjahan Khan was present as the chief guest. While addressing Shahjahan said it was recognition of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s bold leadership in the international arena on her being decorated with the United Nations highest award for environment affairs, “Champions of the Earth”. The programme was also addressed, among others, by the Central Secretary of the organisation Mujibul Huq Badal and its Dhaka City unit General Secretary Abu Sayem Shamim. President of the organisation Sheikh Iqbal presided over the event. Munajat was also offered wishing for good health and long life of the Prime Minister.
