Jatiya Ganotantrik League
A discussion in observance of 39th death anniversary of Nobel laureate Dr Martin Luther King organised by Jatiya Ganotantrik League was held on Saturday in the auditorium of Bangladesh Shishu Kalyan Parishad in the city’s Topkhana Road. In the discussion the speakers said that Luther had played pioneering role to establish the rights of the world’s black people. The event was addressed, among others, by the President of Bangladesh Nationalist Front Abul Kalam Azad, MP, General Secretary of Barisal Zila Awami League Advocate Talukdar Mohammad Yunus and former General Secretary of Dhaka University Teachers’ Association Prof Akhtaruzzaman.
