National Garment Workers Federation
A rally organised by National Garment Workers Federation was held in front of the National Press Club on Tuesday. In the human chain the speakers demanded for the payment of all arrear salaries of Camerina Composit employees and withdrawal of false cases filed against the employees of the factory. The event was addressed, among others, by General Secretary of the federation Safia Parveen, General Secretary of Bangladesh Jubo Moitri Sabbah Ali Khan, Central Member of the Workers Party of Bangladesh Dipankar Saha Dipu and Coordinator of Bangladesh Garments Sramik Oikya Parishad M Delwar Hossain. President of the federation Amirul Haque Amin presided over the programme. The speakers called upon the authority concerned to reopen the factory without any delay.
