A discussion on ‘Current political situation’ organised by Nouka Samorthok Goshthi was held on Monday at the Institution of Diploma Engineers, Bangladesh auditorium in the city’s Kakrail with Dr Khandoker Imdadul Haque Selim, Secretary General of Bangladesh Awami Swadhinata League in the chair. Former Minister and Advisory Council Member of ruling Awami League (AL) Suranjit Sengupta was present as the chief guest. While speaking Suranjit said BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia has sealed the door of dialogue after rejecting to meet Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. The discussion was addressed, among others, by Samyabadi Dal leader Harun Chowdhury, President of Nouka Samorthok Goshthi Humayun Kabir Miji and its Vice-President Rezaul Kabir Reza.
