Bangabandhu Parishad
A discussion on ‘Last election, present government, democratization and the trend of development’ organized by Bangabandhu Parishad was held at Dhaka Reporters Unity auditorium with Secretary of the organisation Dr S A Malek in the chair. In the discussion the speakers said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has saved the country’s independence and democracy by holding the election on January 5 last. Former Chancellor of Rajshahi University Prof M Abdul Khalek, journalist Abdul Jalil Bhuiyan and Prof Dr Nimchandra Bhoumik addressed the discussion, among others.
