Open House Day held in Kishoreganj

Kishoreganj Model Police Station arranged a Open House Day at its premises on Sunday afternoon.
Additional SP in Kishoreganj (Sadar) Md.Al -Amin Hossain attended as Chief Guest, while Sadar Officer in Charge (OC) Mohammad Dhaud chaired the programme.
Additional SP Al-Amin Hossien said, “We have got spontaneous response from commoners in the Open House Day programme and bid policing usually held once or twice in a month at each of the police station across the country . Discussion in the programme is helping us a lot to get idea of the real law and order situation of the locality which help us to take next course of action,” he also added ‘
“It is the lone system where police officers have to face people directly and reply to their quarries,” he added. Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kishoreganj Police Station Mohammad Dhaud told The New Nation , “The programme helps to bridge gap between the police and the common people.
We are now holding Open House Day discussion aimed at reaching
the doorsteps of commoners to convince them to participate in the discussion
with an open mind.”
It was addressed among others, Ex. Kishoreganj Bar Association president Advocate Bhupendra Bhowmick Dholon, Sadar Awami League( AL) president Awalad Hossain,, a UP chairman Freedom Fighters ex.Unit Commander A.B Siddique, CAB district president Alam Sarowar Tito, Mohila Awami League district secretary Bilkis Begum, Freedom Fighters ex. deputy commander Abdul Mannan, Shafiul Haque (Babul Hajee) ,UP chairman Mujibur Rahman Halud, Municipal Councillor Sultan Miah, Councillor Saiful Islam, ex.UP chairman A.B Siddique khoka and OC (Investigation) Muklesur Rahman.
CAB president Alam Sarowar Tito said the commoners even lodge complaints against the policemen in the discussion forcing police to take action against their men for misdeeds.
