Onions from Myanmar arrived at the wholesale market of Chattogram yesterday .
These imported onions arrived by road from Teknaf land port. Following the high price of Indian onion, the importers of Chattogram quickly arranged to import the onions, garlicks from neighbouring Myanmar .
Importers sources said more onions from China, Egypt is expected to arrive Chattogram Bandar by ship immediately . The onion of India origin is being sold at Tk.45 to 50 per kg where lthe newly imported Myanmar onions are being sold at Tk.35 per kg in whole sale market .
The wholesales of Khatungonj are expecting the prices of onion will come down very shortly after arrtival of total imports from other countries.
