A court here sentenced one 7 years rigorous imprisonment for the charge of keeping 100 pieces of Yaba on his position under Kishoreganj Sadar upazila on Wednesday.
He was Sumon Hossain son of Manik Mia of village Kalapara at Kishoreganj Sadar Upazila under Kishoreganj District.
Addtional Session Judge Mohammad Abdur Rahman handed down the verdict.
As per the prosecution, the convicts charge against keeping 100 pice yaba in her position and police recovered him on January 22, 2015.
The case was conducted by Assistant Public Procecutor Moloy Kanti Bhowmik and Advocate Khithish Chandra Debnath for accused.
