One remanded in Kalabagan student death

A Dhaka court on Tuesday placed an accused on two-day remand in a case lodged over the death of a university student who died after mysteriously falling from rooftop of a seven-storied building in the capital’s Kalabagan area.
Dhaka additional metropolitan magistrate Asaduzzaman Nur passed the order as police produced Amir Hamza Adnan before the court and pleaded to place him on five-day remand.
According to the case a
documents, Tajrin Mostafa Moumita, 19, used to live with her family at Kalabagan. Faijer, son of the owner of the building, and his friends allegedly used to tease Moumita.
At about 4:30pm on February 26, Moumita went to the rooftop and at about 6:00pm, Moumita’s family learned that she fell from the roof. They rushed her to the hospital where the doctors declared her dead.
