One passenger was killed , six passenger were injured and two other were shot by dacoits at the Dellashari river in Austragram Haor area of Kishoreganj on Monday morning. Dacoits looted cash 3 lakh 27 thousand taka at gun point. .
The victim were identified as Abu Hossain (50), a sub-contractor of S/O. late Md. Anser Ali in Harirumpur village under Palashbari upazila of Gaibandha district.
A gang of armed pirates numbering 5/6 fired and stabbed passengers.
Serious passenger named Saddam and Abu Taleb were admitted to Zuhurul Islam Medocal College & Hospital.
On information, Additional Police Super Syed Abu Sayeem visited the spot.
The dead body was sent to Kishoreganj 250 Bedded Hospital Morgue for autopsy.
A case was filed in this connection with Austragram Police Station.
