Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) detained a drug trader with seven kilograms of ganja from station road area Tuesday.
The detainee was identified as Mohammad Shahin, 25, hailed from Comilla district.
Police recovered seven kilograms of ganja after searching the luggage box of a compartment of a train halted at Chittagong rail station at around 11 am today and arrested Shahin in this connection.
A case was filed against with Kotwali thana in this connection.
