Police arrested a drug peddler along with 2 lakh Yaba tablets from Anwara upazila here on Saturday morning.
Tipped off, police conducted a drive at Uthan Majhir Ghat area and seized the pills while those were being unloaded from a boat in the Bay of Bengal, said officer-in-charge of Anowara police station Dulal Mahmud.
They arrested Abdur Rahim, brother of Selim, a listed drug smuggler.
