A man was arrested for raping a five -year-old girl at Ishapur area in Chowgacha Municipality of Jashore district on Thursday afternoon .
Victims mother said that when the five -year-old girl was home alone around afternoon, their neighbour, Md Khairul Islam, 35, son of Khalapod Ali entered their home in the absence of her parents and raped her, the neighbors heard victim’s screams they came and caught Khairul and informed the police. The police came to the spot and arrest him.
Rifat Khan Rajib , officer-in-charge (OC) of Chowgacha Police Station, said the victim’s father filed a case with the police station. Police arrested Khairul, the prime accused in the case.
Later, Khairul was produced to court yesterday.
