A youth named Mamun Hossain, 30, was stabbed to death in Jamrultola area under Shohortoli of Jashore district on Saturday evening.
The deceased Mamun was a local mobile trader of the city and son of one Abdur Rouf.
Officer in-Charge ( OC) of Kotwali Police Station confirmed the news to media that Mamun was taking tea in a stall in the evening ,suddenly some unidentified miscreants attacked him with bomb and later stabbed him and ensured his death on the spot.
Reasons behind the killing couldn’t be known instantly, OC added.
