Chittagong Bureau :
A court in Chittagong convicted Md.Idrish Alam Babul with death penalty for killing his friend Afsar Hossain Shamim and the court at the same time fined Tk.5000 .
Three others accused in this case has been acquitted from the charge of murder . The acquitted are Ali Azam, Monir Hossain and Abdur Rauf. Chittagong Divisional special tribunal Judge Abdur Rauf announced this verdict on Thursday .
Special PP of the tribunal Advocate Ayub Khan said, the murder by the convicted undoubtly proved in the court and penalized under BPC section 302/34. Victim Shamim is the student of Chittagong law college .Shamim was killed on July 20 , 2012 , court sources said.
