One person commits suicide by hanging in chowkbazar area in city on Monday night. The incident of suicide occurred at DC road area of ChoxBazar. The victim identified as Md Alam (35), son of Nazir Ali who hails from Teknaf upazila of Cox’sBbazar district.
Police sources said Md.Alam was found in his room hanging with ce iling fan at about 8 pm and rushed immediately by the neigbours to Chittagong Medical college hospital where the attending physicians declared him dead.
Asstt Sub Inspector of CMCH police camp Pankaj Barua confirmed the death of the victim and the reasons of suicide yet to be known to them, sources said.
