A section of Gonoforum President Mostafa Mohsin Montu said that Bangladesh got ‘Jugglery with figures’ from the two Prime Ministers Bangla-desh’s Sheikh Hasaina and India’s Narendea Modi.
He raised a question that what Bangladesh has achieved from PM India visit?
He said that we did not get anything. We have given India all connectivity line but still did not get Tista yet. Criticism emerged that we did not get any connectivity from other neighbours such as electricity from Nepal and Bhutan.
He made the remarks during the Gonoforum Executive Committee meeting on Friday at his office.
Montu said that it is a urgent need to inaugurate the Tista barrage project before becoming a desert of the certain portion of Bangladesh and falling in extinct of the humanity.
He further said if it is need we should talk with China on the issue.
Gonoforum general Secretary Subrata Chowdhury said this visit has no connection with the Bangladeshi people interest. It is for the grasping the power illegally by the help of India.
