On the occasion of coming Eid, noted play director Chayanika Chowdhury has made a special play titled Kono Ek Borshai. Three living legends acted in this play. They are – Dolly Zahur, Tariq Anam Khan and Suborna Mustafa. Its shooting has been made in the city’s Uttara area recently.
Suborna Mustafa has written story of the play which was adapted from the main story written by Badrul Anam Soud.
While talking about the play its director Chayanika Chowdhury told this correspondent, “When Haider and Rehnuma got married, the day when they got divorce from each other and after three months of their divorce when they met – all these happened in monsoon days. After their meeting three years break of their divorce, story of the play gets momentum. Elder sister of Rehnuma, Rabeya brought a new hope in their life.”
Tariq Anam Khan, Suborna Mustafa and Dolly Zahur acted in roles of Haider, Rehnuma and Rabeya respectively in the play.
While talking about acting in this play Tariq Anam Khan said, “After a long time, I acted under a nice script. Therefore, I got Dolly Zahur and Suborna so it will obviously become a nice work. Chayanika has made it cordially and I hope it has become a nice play.”
Suborna shared her feelings by this way, “Main story is Soud and I have written its story for the play. Chayan has made the play nicely.”
Dolly Zahur said, “Chayan always tries to make good play. As a part of its continuation, Kono Ek Borshai is a nice play. I have enjoyed a lot working in this play.”
Chayanika also informed that the play will be aired on ATN Bangla in Eid-ul-Fitr. Faria Hossain is executive producer of this play.
