On the basis of Brick Kiln Control Act 2013, mobile court led by an Executive Magistrate in collaboration with Dhaka district administration and environment directorate inspected the brick fields at Namagenda and Bangaon upazilas in Savar realized Tk 6,75000 from six brick kilns for setting up illegally. The brick fields are- Mrs/ Tisha Bricks and Co. fined-Tk 1,00,000, Chan and Brick field, fined- Tk 25,000, Karnafuli super bricks, fined- Tk 2,00, 000, Masum super bricks, fined- Tk 1,00,000, Firoz bricks fined- Tk 1,00,000, Bangla bricks, fined- Tk 1,50,000. Assistant Commissioner (Land), and Executive Magistrate Pronab Kumar Goash lead the mobile court while Department of environment of Dhaka district’s Assistant Director Md Anowar Hossain, Assistant Director Sariful Islam and Savar thana police help to operate the mobile court.
