On a tip off, Chandpur Coastguard members seized two tons of Jatka in drums on a pick up and detained three members of smugglers at Horina Ferryghat in the morning on Tuesday. Later Mobile Court led by Executive Magistrate Md. Miskatul Islam sent the smugglers to jail for one year each. The Seized fish was distributed among the destitute and orphanages in presence of fisheries officer and others.
