Oman Air of Sultanate of Oman pledges for enhancing more facilities to the passengers travelling from Chittagong to Muscat and vice versa.
Following the increase of demand for traveling through Oman Air, the airlines authority is going to increase flight numbers, deployment of widebodied aircraft and to bring dynamism in passengers hospitality.
This was disclosed at a press briefing arranged at a city hotel yesterday by the country manager of the airlines Mr. Khondakar Ashraful.
Representatives of travel agents and tour operators beside journalists were presentin it.
Country Manager told that most of the immigrants in Oman hail from Chittagong and in consideration of facilities for Chittagong expatriates, Oman Air introduced Chittagong Muscat flight from 2007 .
In intial stage,Oman air operated 5 flights in a week but following the demand of passengers, it is now operating 7 flights. In stead of present airbus having capacityof 156 passengers, it will be deployed Boeing 737 aircraft from very shortly.
Amongothers MangingDirector of GSA Major Syed Mahmud Hossain, President of ATAB , Chittagong region Abu Taher , Secretary Md. Jamaluddin and the sales manager of Oman Air Pinto Bhattachariya were present on the occasion.
