The Olympic solidarity judo coaches course began on Wednesday at National Sports Council gymnasium in the city, said a Bangladesh Olympic Association( BOA) press release.
BOA Secretary General Syed Shahed Reza formally inaugurated the six-day course as the chief guest.
BOA Deputy Secretary Generals Ashikur Rahman Miku and Asaduzzaman Kohinoor and Bangladesh Judo Federation general secretary AKM Selim were also present on the occasion.
The level one course participated by 35 judo caches including five women.
Azerbaijan national judo team coach Azar Sikaleyav is conducting the course.
In his immediate reaction BOA Secretary General Syed Shahed Reza said the participants, who will able to do well in the course, will be sent abroad for better training in the future.
He said they have a plan to organise level two judo course in the near future by saying that the participants will get benefited by taking part in the course keeping ahead of the Bangladesh Youth Games.
