An oil tanker of Meghna Petroleum overturned after losing control on the airport in Dhaka’s Ashkona Monday (March 5).
Airport Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Nure Azam Mia told Banglanews that the tanker contained about 9,000 liters of fuel.
The tanker turned over as a wheel of it detached away while taking u-turn at the airport intersection, leaving the driver injured.
Vehicle movement was obstructed to some extent following the incident.
Afterwards, the tanker was removed from the road after almost four hours, added the OC.
